As discussed on the syllabus, all exams will be open book and open notes, but calculators are not allowed. The exam questions will be based off of the lectures, reading and homework problems, and will focus more on the analytical aspects of the class than on the Matlab topics.

Take-home exams (1 and 2):

  • The exam will be passed out in class on the date indicated.

  • You have at most 90 minutes to complete the exam, but you may take it at any time that is most convenient for you.

  • You are not allowed to discuss the exam questions with anyone except Prof. Reynolds.

  • Your exam is due in Prof. Reynolds’ office before 5:00 pm on the date indicated.

  • The SMU honor pledge must be written out and signed to indicate that the appropriate materials were used in the time limit allowed:

    On my honor, I have neither given nor received aid on this exam.
