News (most recent at top):

• The project due dates are Thursdays instead of Tuesdays, to better accommodate students with lab on Wednesdays. Warning: projects 2-4 are due on the same days as in-class exams, so I strongly recommend that you complete them early.
• We will be using Discussions on Canvas for class discussion. The system is designed to help you get assistance quickly and efficiently from classmates, the TA, and myself. Rather than emailing questions to the teaching staff, I encourage you to post your questions on Canvas.
• Please read Appdendix D in the textbook for a quick review of linear algebra concepts and notation if you are a bit rusty on the subject.
• At the SMU bookstore the text costs $338 buy new,$253.5 buy used, $219.7 rental new,$152.1 rental used, $94 buy digital,$67.5 rent digital; online it can be found for as little as $182.61 buy new,$112.56 buy used, or \$46.32 rental (as of 8/16/16).
